
On September 25th, HF Music Company revealed that all of their apprentices, including Park Woo Dam, Woo Jin Young and Jo Yong Geun of "Produce 101 Season 2", will appear on YG's "MIXNINE" program. An agency source added that although they will record the program, it has not yet been decided whether they will participate in the actual competition.
On the other hand, on September 27, an OSEN source reported that OMZM, the new Star Empire Entertainment group, may appear on JTBC's "MIXNINE" audition program. The source reported that Yang Hyun Suk personally went to the Star Empire building to film.
OMZM has been in preparation at Star Empire since last year. Originally it would include apprentices of "Produce 101" like Han Hyeri, Kim Yoon Ji and Kang Si Hyun, however, Han Hyeri decided to leave the agency earlier this year and the group had to be re-organized.
On September 29, the KNK agency sent a statement to its fan cafe to announce that they had received an offer from the producers of "MIXNINE", and after a long time of consideration and discussion by the agency and the group, it was decided that all members would appear in the program.
The agency wrote: "It is planned that members fully exhibit their hidden potential and ability. We ask you to continue to demonstrate immutable love and support for KNK members who have made this difficult decision. "
KNK is a group of five guys under YNB Entertainment that made its debut in 2016, and has since released three mini albums and two single albums. They recently made a comeback in July with "Rain".
"MIXNINE" is a JTBC competition that featured the search for new talent from Yang Hyun Suk in agencies across the country. About 400 trainees will compete to be part of the final female and male teams, which will then compete to determine which group will finally debut. So far, it has been confirmed that an apprentice of JYP Entertainment and also LOONA.
