On January 31 a rumor spread about a report that claimed that the group that debuted after winning the Produce 101 Season 2 survival program, Wanna One would extend its contract until February 2019 for the future awards that the group would have and for So they should be together until then.
Regrettably for the fans of the group that were already excited by the rumor of the extension of the contract, the agency that manages for now the group YMC Entertainment denied the rumor saying:
"It is true that we mentioned the possibility of holding their final concert, which was scheduled for December, in January, however, it was simply mentioned, and the discussion has not yet been finalized."
There is still a possibility of extending the contract only until January 2019, but nothing has been finalized, however, what is known is that the decision will not have to do with awards.
Recall that the Wanna One contract will expire on December 31 of this year.
