On September 8, the artist's agency sent a statement to the fans saying that Lee Joon felt the earthquake that happened in Mexico while he was in the place where his fan meeting would be held.
PrainTPC said: "After hearing that an earthquake of magnitude 8.0 hit Mexico, we contacted Lee Joon and he told us that he and all his team were well."
Then Lee Joon published via Instagram some words to calm his fans: "I am currently in Mexico. I post this because there are a lot of people worried. My team and I felt the earthquake, but we were evacuated to a safe area. It scares you out of 8.0, but the hotel people protected us. Please pray for all who are in Mexico. "
